Я ехала в Санкт-Петербург со своим «плакатом желаний», и переезд в Питер был частью этих мечт. Начались кастинги, мы подавали заявки на конкурсы, работали на заводе, красили свечки всей командой, а в это время по радио играли наши песни: «Простая», «Мама». Но тогда мы не понимали, что это набирает обороты популярность. Это было просто странно и приятно. Удивительно, но мы похожи с ребятами в том, что мы мечтаем, ставим цели, но ничего не ждем до сих пор.

Чем пришлось пожертвовать ради работы и творчества?

Выбрав свое дело, нужно быть стабильным. Я научилась не эмоционировать, не принимать решений сгоряча, потому что можно за одну минуту разрушить отношения, которые выстраивались много лет. Но это, скорее, не жертвы, а приобретённые знания и умения. Даже когда теряешь что-то на пути к мечте, то приобретаешь во много раз больше. В перелётах сбиваются графики, и это бывает самое сложное испытание, вялость в мышцах ведёт к вялости связок, голос может сесть, а это сложно для нас, потому что работаем всегда вживую.

Как складывается брак в условиях совместной работы? Каково это — быть на сцене с мужем? (Екатерина замужем за гитаристом группы Леонидом Терещенко — прим.ред.)

Первые два года нашего романа мы много говорили и думали о том, как наши отношения могут помешать работе группы. Все это оказалось глупостью, мы в зонах комфорта друг друга, без нашего союза не было бы таких наших песен. Мы вдохновляем друг друга. Иногда Леня играет для меня по кругу один и тот же пассаж до тех пор, пока я не раскроюсь, пока текст не потечет рекой по страницам дневника. Он мой главный критик и мой вдохновитель. Мы верим друг в друга, растем вместе.

Как изменились отношения после свадьбы?

Мы вместе 10 лет, я уже не помню себя «до» Лени. Нам нравится одна музыка, мы одинаково мыслим, ощущаем жизнь. После венчания мы стали еще ближе духовно, ушла вся неловкость, все вопросы отпали. Мы вместе живем, вместе создаем музыку; создаем ее молча, в любви, выстраивая вокруг себя энергию доверия. Всегда искренне говорим о проблемах, я не умею накапливать в себе, всегда выдаю сразу то, о чем думаю. А Леня очень мудрый, он чувствует перемены в настроении. Делиться и говорить — это очень действенно. Это избавляет от многих проблем. Расставаясь на день, мы много переписываемся, и я люблю эти письма.
