Утерянную сумму в 20 миллионов рублей супруги хотели пустить на развитие нового бизнеса: создание сети фитнес-клубов. В ресторане проходила встреча четы с бизнес-партнером Антона — Александром Согомоновым. Пострадавшие считают, что к исчезновению денег причастна официантка Оксана, которая обслуживала их столик.
«Все знают, что они скандальные гости. Постоянно предъявляют претензии», — так отозвалась девушка о Романец и Гусеве в программе «На самом деле».
В ресторане экс-участников телестройки тайно снимали на видео. В кадре заметно, как Виктория обливает водой официантку и ставит на стол туфли. Оксана настаивает, что сумку с деньгами передала сама Виктория одному человеку, похожему на ее водителя.
«Это ресторан нашего друга. Мы там можем вести себя, как угодно. Персонал в этом ресторане очень плохой. Когда я вернулась из уборной, не увидела сумки», — скандалила Романец.

Оказалось, что она собирается покупать квартиру на Садовом кольце за восемь миллионов», — возмущалась Виктория.
Антон Гусев поддерживает жену. «Оксана в сговоре с моим другом», — заявил муж Виктории. 
Александр же настаивает, что в пропаже замешана именно Романец. К тому же бизнесмен обиделся на супругов, когда услышал запись их разговора, сделанную Оксаной. Те называли его неухоженным и вонючим.  
В ходе проверки на детекторе лжи стало известно, что Оксана замешана в пропаже сумки. А вот инициатором произошедшей кражи эксперт Роман Устюжанин назвал Согомонова. 
«Я не воровал деньги. Но решил, что этот человек должен потерять немного денег в обмен на то, что говорит обо мне, своем партнере. Оксана все реализовала», — поделился в конце программы Александр.
