Юрий Киндрат скончался после болезни. Ему было 33 года. 28 апреля актер опубликовал в своем Инстаграме фото больничного коридора с короткой подписью: «Движение вверх. К новым вершинам». Друзья пожелали ему скорейшего выздоровления. А утром 9 мая его жена, актриса Ксения Скорокосова сообщила на своей странице в социальной Сети, что Юрий Киндрат скончался. Оказалось, что госпитализировали Юрия с диагнозом «двусторонняя пневмония», об этом рассказала его родственница.
«Нашей семье срочно нужна помощь. Мой зять госпитализирован с двусторонней пневмонией, КТ показало системную деформацию легких, врачи в 51-ой больнице не могут понять, что с ним конкретно, говорят, впервые с таким сталкиваются, плюс до 3-его числа лечащие врачи на выходных. В общем мы паникуем, ибо нет конкретного диагноза, значит нет результативного лечения. Юре тяжело дышать и передвигаться. 8 мая супруга актера сообщила, что Юрия ввели в искусственную кому, чтобы организму было легче бороться с болезнью. «На данный момент, наш Юра находится в тяжелом состоянии в реанимации. Он не выходит на связь, потому что сейчас его ввели в искусственную кому, чтобы организму было легче бороться, чтобы он не волновался. К сожалению у меня нет сил всем ответить. Милые, пожалуйста, думайте об Юрке сейчас много-много! Отправляйте ему свою любовь и свет, говорите с ним! Сейчас это очень нужно», – написала супруга актера.
Увы, ни молитвы друзей, ни стараний врачей не помогли спасти жизнь молодому актеру. Прощание с Юрием Киндратом прошло 12 мая в Храме Иконы Божией Матери, похоронили актера на Перепечинском кладбище.
Юрий Киндрат окончил New York Universal Artistik School в 2010 году и актерско-режиссерский курс Школы Германа Сидакова в 2015, играл в театре «Школа драматического искусства» и «Театре на Юго-Западе». Будущий актер родился в Тюмени, профессионально занимался футболом, стал кандидатом в мастера спорта. После обучения в Америке, вернувшись в Россию, совершенно случайно попал в театра, а потом и в кино. «Я профессионально занимался футболом, а мой друг актер пригласил меня на читку подождать его. Один из актеров опаздывал, и меня попросили почитать, я почитал и мне предложили сыграть. Меня сразу утвердили на роль в спектакле «Старший сын», – рассказывал о себе Юрий в промо-ролике агентства «Звездный дождь». Далее последовали небольшие, но заметные роли в кино. Юрий мечтал сняться в исторической картине, но увы, это так и не сбылось.
